Kul Kah Han Native Plant Demonstration Garden

Who We Are

Demonstration garden of Pacific Northwest native plants located at HJ Carroll Park in Chimacum, WA.  Volunteers maintain the garden on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April through October.

“Our passion is to inspire and guide our regional community toward the appreciation, cultivation and use of plants native to the Pacific Northwest.”

There are seven distinct areas in this one acre garden. Each represents the essence of a particular Pacific Northwest ecosystem or “plant community.”

We encourage environmental responsibility through the cultivation of native plants.

What We Do

On Wednesdays at the Garden:

  • Learn about PNW native plants for appreciation in the wild and use in landscaping.
  • Teach others about PNW native plants.
  • Enjoy the beauty and practical uses of PNW native plants.
  • Build community with those who already know about PNW native plants and those who wish to learn about them.
  • Plan for plant sales and educational events.
  • Discuss fundraising ideas for the Garden.
  • Care for the Garden.
