In this two day workshop you will connect with your volunteer management peers as you explore the "how" and "why" of effective volunteer engagement and will gain a better understanding of the essential elements and infrastructure required to support your volunteer involvement efforts.  You'll have the opportunity to assess your existing volunteer program to identify simple steps you can take to strengthen volunteer involvement.
 We will also review Get Connected Jefferson's online volunteer engagement portal and identify strategies for utilizing Get Connected to engage your volunteers.

About Nikki:

Nikki Russell is a national leader in endorsing the strategic advantage of effective volunteer engagement.  With more than 20 years of experience in volunteer engagement, including 7 years as the lead trainer for United Way of King County's Volunteer Center, Nikki is a seasoned workshop facilitator.  Nikki is currently the Director of Development and Community Engagement for United Good Neighbors of Jefferson County. She is the president of the Volunteer Centers of Washington and serves on the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration (a national organization).
